This year’s Perseid meteor shower, which peaks on August 12-13, will be a challenge for skywatchers, as the full Moon coincides with this normally bright and active event. But you will be able to see Perseids in the days leading up to the peak if your skies are dark. And you can share watching for the Perseids with the rest of the world via “MeteorWatch.” If you haven’t heard of MeteorWatch, it is a way to watch the shower with others, and share your experiences even if you are out there watching all alone
