redShift is made up of undergraduate students from Columbia and Barnard with a genuine interest in astronomy and who want to engage with other astronomy students, the department here at Columbia and the community at large. We welcome undergrads that are majoring in Astronomy/Astrophysics, other science disciplines, or people who simply have an interest in the subject.

redShift Movie Outing


Thanks to all who came out to Thursday's movie outing to see Nostalgia for the Light! What a great movie, even if, as Curtis mentioned "that movie left me feeling guilty, and I'm not sure why..." It was great to see so many redShift people braving the rain and the cold and trekking to Greenwich Village - I definitely think it paid off! See you all next time!
